• Farmington Public Library kicks off Garden Seed Lending Program (dailybulldog.com) — Farmington residents can now support a new Garden Seed Exchange at the Farmington Public Library by donating leftover, still-viable seed packets at the library, Root Down Market, or the Cooperative Extension office on Pleasant Street. Free seeds will be available next spring to local library cardholders, with organizers hoping to build a continuing community cycle that boosts food resilience, biodiversity, and affordable home gardening.
   

• Man accused of stealing car, ATV in Jay arrested, police say (wmtw.com) — Farmington readers should know that Farmington police helped Jay officers and other agencies track down a man accused of stealing a car and an ATV during a weekend crime spree in Jay. The suspect, who allegedly rammed a police cruiser and fled on an ATV, was later arrested, while Jay police also made a separate drug-related arrest and are still seeking a damaged light blue Audi.
