Frustrated homeowners are now rallying behind a petition to create a recall ordinance for elected officials, while being urged to pursue individual abatements as thousands face higher tax bills this fall.
   

• Lincoln native, UMaine grad named Norway Savings Bank president (bangordailynews.com) — A major local employer, Norway Savings Bank, headquartered in Norway, has promoted longtime executive Darci Hamm to become its 18th president while current president Dan Walsh remains CEO until 2027. Hamm, a UMaine graduate with 25 years at the bank, will lead strategy across its 25 branches in Maine and New Hampshire, continuing the institution's long record of community involvement and workplace awards.
