Spinnaker Trust Celebrates 25 Years of Growth and Community Impact

PORTLAND, Maine (October 2, 2026) - Spinnaker Trust is celebrating its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of growth from a six-person boutique firm to a team of more than 40 serving individuals, families, institutions and businesses across Maine and beyond.

The firm gathered on Sept. 17 at The Woodlands Club with friends, colleagues, clients and community partners who have played a role in its history.

Founded in Portland in 2001, Spinnaker today serves more than 700 families and individuals, manages more than $3.2 billion in assets and provides ESOP Trustee services to more than 80 organizations across the Northeast. Spinnaker has remained locally owned and independent since its founding.

Supporting Maine communities has been a longstanding priority for the company. Over the past decade, Spinnaker Trust and its teammates have contributed more than $500,000 through charitable giving, volunteerism, board service and other community involvement.
