LEWISTON, Maine (February 13, 2020) – Lewiston-based law firm Brann & Isaacson announced the new hire of associate Hannah Wurgaft, whose practice will focus on labor and employment law, municipal law and litigation. The move marks Wurgaft’s return to the firm, where she served as a 2018 summer associate during law school.

“Hannah’s diverse experience will make her valuable to our labor and employment law, municipal law and litigation practices,” said Dan Nuzzi, a senior partner at the firm. “In addition, her exceptional client service and familiarity with Brann & Isaacson will contribute significantly to our success in 2020.”

Prior to her hiring, Wurgaft most recently worked as an Ethics AA/EEO Compliance Officer at Bath Iron Works. She also previously worked as a legal intern at L.L. Bean, a Bernstein Fellow for the Lewiston District Court and as an investigative analyst and trial preparation assistant for the New York County District Attorney’s office.

Wurgaft is a 2019 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where she was executive editor of the Maine Law Review, a teaching assistant in the legal writing program and co-chair of the Ensuring Equal Access to Justice in Maine’s Rural Communities symposium. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies and Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College.
