Broadreach Hires Meg Handlin to serve as Senior Client Manager

PORTLAND, Maine – Broadreach Public Relations, a strategic public relations firm located on Commercial Street in Portland, has recently hired Meg Handlin as a Senior Client Manager/PR Strategist. A long-time resident of Portland, Handlin is nationally accredited in public relations.

“I met Meg through the Maine Public Relations Council when she completed the rigorous public relations accreditation program and felt that the depth of her strategic communications experience, can-do spirit, and commitment to continuous professional education made her an ideal candidate to fulfill our expanding client service needs,” explains Linda Varrell, President of Broadreach Public Relations.

Prior to joining Broadreach Public Relations, Meg was an independent PR Strategist working with local, national and international companies, developing and executing strategic communications plans, writing engaging content, and promoting new businesses/products. Prior to establishing her own consultancy, Meg worked as a Conference Coordinator then as a Marketing Manager at Diversified Business Communications.

Meg presently serves on the MPRC Board of Directors, and for the last seven years she has donated her communications skills as an Executive Team volunteer for inABLE.org, an international nonprofit founded in 2009 to empower blind and visually impaired students in Africa through computer assistive technology.
