Broadreach Public Relations Celebrates Five Years of the Entrepreneurial Operating System

The Anniversary reflects Broadreach's commitment to intentional growth, stronger systems and a shared vision for the future

PORTLAND, Maine (August 19, 2026) – Recently, Broadreach Public Relations celebrated five years of integrating the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). EOS is an internal system designed for entrepreneurial businesses that focuses on six key components to encourage growth and ensure strong leadership; vision; data; people; issues; processes; and traction.

"What I appreciate about EOS is that it didn't change who we are as a company. Instead, it helped us become a stronger version of ourselves,” said Linda Varrell, President and Founder of Broadreach Public Relations. “It gave our team a common language and a shared understanding of what success looks like.”

When Varrell launched the firm in 2007, she was working as a one woman shop out of her home. As client workload grew and the business expanded into a 10-person team anchored on the Portland waterfront, Varrell and Paula Stanton, Vice President of Client Services, knew they needed responsibilities and processes to evolve. Megan Piper, MBA and an Expert EOS Implementer with more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles, helped Broadreach implement the EOS model to strengthen its business operations.

Through EOS, Broadreach has honed its vision, strengthened its use of data, and invested in its people. In addition to supporting business expansion, EOS touches nearly every aspect of Broadreach's operations, creating structure for meetings and workflows and developing a system to ensure that every team member is in the right role to help the organization thrive.

“EOS came to us at exactly the right time. We had accomplished a great deal, but we needed a better way to navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with growth,” said Varrell. She credits EOS with helping the team adapt, gain traction and grow without losing sight of the business she built nearly 20 years ago. This anniversary serves as a reminder of where Broadreach started and the value of investing in a model built for the entrepreneur.

“Megan brought an outside perspective that helped us have honest conversations, navigate change and continue building an environment where people can do their best work."
