The City is also relaunching the Microenterprise Grant Program which has increased eligibility to businesses in two ways: small businesses that opened after the pandemic started in March 2020 are now eligible to apply, as well as businesses with 0-3 employees. The Microenterprise Program offers grants up to $5,000 for businesses whose owners are low/moderate income. This program does not have a deadline for applications as they will be accepted when received. Portland businesses are encouraged to apply early since funds remaining for this program are limited.
