Corporate Reputation Strategist & Author to Keynote Maine Public

Reputation management, ethical practices and social influencers will be among the many communications topics explored at annual event

In response to an unprecedented number of high profile corporate reputation crises, the Maine Public Relations Council (MPRC) welcomes Dr. Leslie Gaines-Ross, one of the world's most widely recognized experts on CEO and corporate reputation, as the keynote speaker at the 2018 MPRC Annual Conference on Thursday, October 25 in Freeport, Maine.

“For our annual conference, MPRC brings influential thought leaders to share best practices with Maine business/communications professionals and MPRC members; this year Weber Shandwick’s Chief Reputation Strategist will address how reputation management is shifting and how companies can protect and manage their most valuable asset—reputation,” explains MPRC President Linda Varrell.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, a global public relations agency with offices in 81 countries, Dr. Gaines-Ross was Chief Knowledge & Research Officer Worldwide at Burson-Marsteller and Marketing & Communications Director at Fortune. The author of two highly regarded books -- CEO Capital: A Guide to Building CEO Reputation and Company Success and Corporate Reputation: 12 Steps to Safeguarding and Recovering Reputation, Dr. Gaines-Ross was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by Ethisphere Magazine and PR Week’s 2017 In-House Professional of the Year.
