Integrated Dog Park Woof.Play.Eat. Opens Restaurant and Bar in Portland, Maine

Woof.Play.Eat., recently opened at 49 Northport Drive as a first-of-its-kind destination designed for dogs and the people who love them, announces the opening of its on-site restaurant and bar, with menu options to please your whole pack.

Owners Marissa and Brad Sterl invite dog’s best friends to enjoy tempting appetizers such as Pawroast Nachos or a Barkuterie Board; try a unique selection of Italian stone-baked pizzas, juicy smash burgers and crispy chicken sandwiches; sample hearty salads and bowls; or settle in for Pooch Au Poivre & Frites. Get your day started with a freshly-brewed coffee or unwind before you pick up your pup with a hand-crafted cocktail, beer, or wine. Dogs aren’t left out either, with a selection of thoughtfully prepared menu items created just for our furry friends.

“We designed our menu around scratch cooking and quality ingredients — blending classic New England warmth and comfort with creative, globally inspired flavors,” said Marissa Sterl. “Everything we serve reflects the same care and intention we bring to our dog care programs. We hope Woof.Play.Eat becomes a true community destination, providing fun, relaxation, and real food for the whole family — pups included.”

Park hours are Monday through Friday, 7am - 9pm and Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 9pm.

Restaurant hours 11-9 daily, with coffee available starting at 7am.

Founded by Marissa and Brad Sterl, Woof.Play.Eat. offers a full restaurant in addition to a 10,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor play environment where dogs can run, socialize, and burn energy year-round with highly trained staff overseeing safe, supervised play. For drop-off needs, the daycare program operates in a separate, purpose-built space with an enrichment-first approach, limited dogs per staff member, and multiple play areas that support structured activities and appropriately matched groups.
