Born and raised in Maine, Jonathan Carr is excited about opening the first Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery in the state alongside his partner, Todd Greenquist. “My mother was a baker and I loved helping her in the kitchen. I remember her Bundt cakes and how they were so comforting and special to me,” explained Carr. “Now we have the opportunity to share Nothing Bundt Cakes with the Portland area and I can’t wait to see the reactions when guests try them for the first time.” Carr and Greenquist are involved with non-profits in the area and are looking forward to giving back to the community, starting with a day in October to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation. “Being the first to share these amazing cakes is great but being able to give back too is ‘frosting on the cake!’” The local owners will host grand opening festivities for the community October 24-26 (see details below).
