Cumberland’s household income jumped 40% in five years.

Veteran radio jock Lori Voornas of Townsquare Media’s Z107.3 said she's not surprised the big money's on the town known not for wealth but for an agricultural fair.

But Cumberland’s not all about manure, despite its public r’aison d'etre.

“Cumberland has a public beach, pier, and walking trails that I discovered accidentally once and fell in love with,” Voornas said. “If you are moving from out of state, you can feel a tad more rural in Cumberland and still have close access to all the amenities to spend that $154,375.”
