SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Michaud Accounting Solutions, one of the nation’s leading Sage Intacct cloud accounting sales, implementation and training providers, announced Senior Consultant Deborah Patry, CPA and Associate Consultant Victoria Waugh have earned the Sage Intacct Certified Implementation Specialist certification.

Sage Intacct is the first and only cloud accounting software preferred by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which sets high standards for accounting software used by accountants, CPAs, and finance professionals worldwide. Patry, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, joined Michaud Accounting Solutions in April 2019 from Maine-based Apothecary by Design, where she was the Assistant Controller. Patry is a seasoned professional who started her career in the audit department of regional public accounting firm Baker Newman Noyes and who later served as Treasurer at Friends of the Reach School for 10 years. In addition to the Sage Intacct Implementation Certification, Patry holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern Maine.

Waugh, of Portland, Maine, joined Michaud Accounting Solutions in March 2019 from MaineHealth. Waugh began her career in her family’s tax accounting practice, where she continues to work part-time today, and has also completed a summer internship in the accounting department at Point Sebago Resort. In addition to the Sage Intacct Implementation Certification, Waugh holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Maine.
