Portland Council’s September 9th Workshop To Discuss Marijuana Licensing

The Portland City Council’s remote workshop set for Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 4:30 PM will now be held to discuss a marijuana licensing update. The workshop was previously scheduled to discuss the November 3 Election. The workshop will also contain an Executive Session so the Council can consult with Corporation Counsel to discuss its legal rights and duties relating to the marijuana licensing ordinance and to discuss pending litigation in the matter of NPG, LLC et al. v. City of Portland, pursuant to 1 M.R.S. section 405(6)(E).

The City Council will hold a special city council meeting following the workshop at 5:30 PM.
