Portland Parking Alert: Street Maintenance Signs Back In Effect Oct 1
Reminder on October 1, parking meter rates will increase to $2.00/hour in accordance with the Council's adoption of the FY21 budget.
September 29, 2020
Reminder from the City’s Parking Division and Department of Public Works that effective October 1, the Street Maintenance signs on streets will be back in effect. These restrictions are in effect from October 1 through May 31, except for area 3 (Old Port) where they are enforced year round. These signs are used not only for street sweeping operations, but for other street maintenance needs like tree removal/pruning, snow plow operations, and more. The City’s street sweeping program not only makes our streets look nicer, but collecting the debris protects our waterways and harbor. Click here to see which areas have restrictions on what night.
