• Graphic timeline now on display at the Chapman-Hall House (pressherald.com) — A new illustrated historical timeline is now on display at the Chapman-Hall House museum in nearby Damariscotta, with artwork partly by Paul Bates, who retired to South Bristol. The house will be open weekends through Pumpkinfest, giving South Bristol residents an easy chance to explore local Midcoast history and see familiar scenes depicted in detailed pen-and-ink and watercolor pieces.
