Aberdeen Man Jailed After Allegedly Beating Woman He Met On Online Dating Site
An Aberdeen man was jailed in Pennsylvania after allegedly beating and threatening to kill a woman he met on an online dating site.

An Aberdeen man was arrested earlier this month after a Pennsylvania woman passed a note to a bank teller asking for help escaping from the man she said was beating and threatening to kill her.
Jason Zacek, 37, of the 1000 block of Warwick Drive was arrested April 6 at a Motel 6 in Manchester Township, Pa, according to Northern York County Regional police.
Zacek allegedly met a 33-year-old Pennsylvania woman on the online dating site, plentyoffish.com, and after arranging to meet her in a central Pennsylvania motel, allegedly disabled her cell phone and began physically and mentally abusing her over the course of three days.

According to police reports, Zacek allegedly assaulted the woman by shoving her and hitting her, resulting in her suffering a black eye and abrasions to her upper body. She told police Zacek told her he would "kill her and cut off her head somewhere in the mountains," and "bury her in the mountains so that no one could find the body."
The woman escaped Zacek by slipping a note to a bank teller at a PNC Bank in York, Pa. while Zacek wasn't paying attention, informing the teller which motel they were staying at and that she needed help.

According to police, despite the fact that the victim had visible injuries, the bank teller remained calm and called for help after the couple exited the bank.
Officers responded to the motel and didn't find Zacek or the victim in the third-floor room, but instead outside of the motel with the victim's 9-year-old daughter, according to the police report.
When Zacek was confronted by police, he allegedly attempted to walk away and then gave them a false name before being arrested and jailed at York County Prison on a $2,500 bond.
Zacek was charged with giving false identification to a law enforcement officer, simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.
A MySpace profile for Zacek identifies him as a "proud parent" and a tattoo artist who likes to work out, box and watch mixed martial arts fighting.
According to police documents, Northumberland County, Pa have also issued a warrant for Zacek's arrest in an unrelated case involving a DUI.
Zacek has a previous criminal history in Harford and Cecil Counties which include a 2007 charge for domestic violence and a peace order.
York County Prison officials were unable to say whether Zacek had been released on bail Tuesday.
