An Aberdeen boy was arrested Friday after allegedly starting a fire in a bathroom in Aberdeen Middle School. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the 12-year-old boy lit paper products on fire inside of a student bathroom on two different occasions.  School staff members discovered the fire, and it was controlled. The fire department did not have to respond. There was an estimated $50 in damages, none to the structure of the building. The boy was released to the custody of his parents.
