Aberdeen Parks & Rec Baseball Parade Is Saturday
The parade will temporarily close some Aberdeen streets on Saturday morning.
Drivers beware: the mascots from local businesses, Harford Community College and the Aberdeen IronBirds will be taking over three city streets Saturday.
Don't worry, they'll have company. The costumed friends will be marching along with the Aberdeen High School band and local ballplayers as the Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Baseball program kicks off opening day with its annual parade.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bakerfield Elementary School. Participants will march to West Bel Air Avenue, turning right and marching to Paradise Road, where they'll head north toward Aberdeen High School.
