Aberdeen's Saddler Feels He Fits In With NBA Players
The Aberdeen Eagles alum had a breakout freshman year at Delaware.
Aberdeen native Devon Saddler spent the summer playing basketball with college and NBA standouts.
, the Colonial Athletic Association's rookie of the year for 2010-2011, is already a standout at Delaware. He's hoping to become one of those standout NBA guys.
Saddler was recently featured in The Sun's series on the top local college basketball stars in the Recruiting Report blog. In the interview, Saddler said his participation in the summer league only boosted his confidence. Among those he played alongside was San Antonio Spurs guard and fellow ex-Eagles star .

A big turning point for Saddler was his in his first college game in Maryland. Saddler averaged 13.3 points per game at Delaware.
Saddler, who is entering his sophomore season, was named a Blue Hens captain recently.

Delaware opens its season at Radford on Nov. 11. Saddler and Co. visit Towson again on Feb. 12, 2012.
