Purchased from Salem Communications for the princely sum of $1, long-time radio executive Bill Parris and his wife Libby have already transformed WAMD into a local news, information and music medium.
The station, located at 400 Hiob Lane, looks the same on the outside, but the inside has been transformed into a professional, modern, radio broadcast studio.

Everyday Bill brings more gear into the small on-air studio. Bill recently installed video cameras in the studio allowing, not only audio, but now video streaming over the web at http://www.khztv.com.
This marriage of traditional radio broadcast and now Internet video, allows anyone with Internet access to hear and see the radio broadcast, live.
In addition to WAMD, Bill and Libby also own AM 810 WYRE Annapolis and AM 1460 WKHZ Easton. If this doesn’t keep them busy enough, Bill also manages a number of radio stations in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. market.
Station Manager, Steve Mann, handles the morning drive time on WAMD. Local news is provided by The Dagger.

The radio signal has been greatly improved and now the station covers the Harford County Route 40 corridor and points north and west.
