As a resident of Aberdeen I enjoy everything about living here!

Maryland is such a great place, and as a resident of Aberdeen I enjoy everything about living here. 

We’re surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay to the east and the mountains to the west. We have great seafood, fishing, hunting, boating, crabbing and our own baseball at Ripken Stadium, which is a worldwide tourist attraction. The Cal Ripken World Series was held over the last week and was a great success. As a native Marylander and young boy from age five, I grew up like many young boys, playing Little League baseball. Sports teaches children a valuable lesson in teamwork. Which makes me think of what we need more of in trying to work through all the issues we face. Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed by what’s going on with the economy, tolls, taxes, education, etc., but we need to continue pursuing what’s right for our families and our children. We can’t give in and let others take it away!  We have an ‘out of control Tax Train’ in Annapolis that we need to work together to  ‘throw the brakes on!’ My position is and has always been no new taxes and I’ll continue to stand on that.
