WHITE MARSH MALL CONSTRUCTION UPDATE!

Construction has begun at White Marsh Mall as the center's new “refresh” campaign gets underway!  To help our community & shoppers stay informed and up to date on our on-going progress, I'll be sharing updates with you each week, keeping you up to speed on what's happening at one of Baltimore County's favorite shopping destinations, leading up to our grand unveiling in the fall! Be sure to leave plenty of comments on what you think of our refresh, what you would like to see in the mall and what you think of our new stores & restaurants!

As you can see from the “before and after” photos taken on the evening of May 23rd, the mall's food court area got some fresh paint and touch ups, but this is just the beginning.  Woods Construction will be doing the majority of the work overnight when the mall is closed, so we can make sure your shopping experience is not interrupted and no one is inconvenienced.

When all is said and done, the renovated Food Court will feature a new Charley’s Grilled Subs and Yolavie Premium Frozen Yogurt, in addition to Red Robin, which opened last October. Three other dining favorites, Cajun Café & Grill, G’lato d’Italia, and The Great Cookie will also be remodeling their stores. Other changes will include new Food Court furniture and amenities, updated, energy- efficient lighting and skylight treatments. 

The entire White Marsh Mall construction project is expected to be complete by the end of August 2012, just in time for the highly anticipated grand openings of Boscov’s department store and Buca di Beppo restaurant, which I am particularly excited about (LOVE the Penne Basilica)!  If you've never been to Buca before, you're in for a real treat. Buca offers incredible Italian cuisine, even featuring a gluten-free menu that is unique for a restaurant that highlights delicious pasta dishes. So if the many shopping options weren’t enough, now we've given your taste buds a new reason to love White Marsh Mall!
