Bull Rider Recovering from Farm Fair Trampling, Officials Say

The Harford County Farm Fair participant was reportedly in stable condition on Monday.

A man who was trampled by a bull Sunday at the Harford County Farm Fair was in stable condition Monday morning, the Harford County Farm Fair reported.

At 3:06 p.m. on Sunday, a bull rider was picked up by a Maryland State Police helicopter and flown to a regional trauma center after a bull stepped on him, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

The bull rider suffered serious injuries to the facial region, according to the fire company’s report.

On Monday morning, farm fair officials reported that the man was in stable condition and had broken his jaw and sternum.

The rider, identified as Billy Love of Allentown, PA, had been participating in the rodeo, which returned to the farm fair this year after a 10-year hiatus, The Aegis reported.
