The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region (The Arc NCR) is seeking submissions for a juried art exhibit at the fourth annual Sprout Film & Art Festival. Interested artists, with and without disabilities, are invited to submit one piece, either two or three dimensional, to The Arc NCR at 4513 Philadelphia Road in Aberdeen, Monday – Friday between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. All pieces are due by Friday, October 28. Artwork can be
any medium, but must be display-ready.
The Sprout Film & Art Festival takes place Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Water’s Edge Events Center in Belcamp, MD. The evening will begin with the opportunity to browse beautiful art and enjoy light refreshments, enjoy an upbeat performance by The Rage Box Dance Center from Forest Hill and end with an hour of short films from the renowned NYC company, Sprout.
Artists whose piece is chosen for display at the festival can purchase a discounted event ticket for $8. Winners will be notified on Friday, November 4 by close of business day. Regular tickets are available for $12 a person online at www.arcncr.org or by calling 410-836-7177. Ticket includes light refreshments, and a cash bar will be available. All proceeds benefit The Arc NCR. Artwork must be picked up from The Arc NCR by Monday, November 21, 2016.
