Christmas Street Traffic Closures Planned: Police
The Aberdeen Police Department gives guidance on which roads to avoid.

From the Aberdeen Police Department: At 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017, W. Bel Air Avenue between US40 and Mount Royal Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic due to the Christmas Street Parade. W. Bel Air Avenue will remain closed until the conclusion of the parade. Portions of streets off W. Bel Air Avenue will be closed as well.
Streets around the parade route that will be affected are:
• S. Law Street at Plater Street and N. Law Street just before W. Bel Air Avenue.
• S. Rogers Street at Buchanan Lane and N. Rogers Street just before W. Bel Air Avenue.
• S. Parke Street at Buchanan Lane and North Parke Street just before W. Bel Air Avenue.
• Howard Street just before W. Bel Air Avenue.
• Franklin Street at US40
• N. Rogers Street at Franklin Street
• Franklin Street at N. Parke Street
• Rogers Street Ramp at US40.
The City of Aberdeen and Aberdeen Police Department encourage citizens to come early for the festivities occurring before the parade. Doing so will enhance your chances of premium parking.
