Crash on I-95 Slowed Morning Rush Hour Outside Aberdeen

A crash near Aberdeen that was reported before 8 a.m. Friday backed up traffic for approximately one hour.

At 7:53 a.m., a five-vehicle crash was reported past Exit 85 (Aberdeen/Churchville) on Interstate 95 south, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.

As of 8:55 a.m. Friday, one lane on I-95 southbound remained closed, the team reported, and traffic was still stacked up, moving at a crawl.

By 9:05 a.m., all lanes had reopened.
