Crews Battle House Fire in Edgewood

The blaze was brought under control before noon on Monday.

Crews battled a house fire in Edgewood Monday morning, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. Officials said nobody was injured in the blaze.

At 11:25 a.m., the Abingdon Fire Company responded to the 2200 block of Rosewood Drive, where a fire alarm had activated, the association reported.

Abingdon called for additional personnel at 11:33 a.m., so Bel Air, Joppa-Magnolia and APG firefighters responded to assist at the single-family home, the report said.

By 11:43 a.m., the fire was declared under control, according to the report.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze, the association reported.
