Christian Slattery Sr. McTeacher’s Night

The McDonald’s Family Restaurants of Greater Baltimore is pleased to honor Christian Slattery Sr. of Harford County, a finalist for the Maryland Teacher of the Year Award which recognizes elementary, middle and high school teachers that excel as both instructors and leaders within their communities.

To celebrate Slattery’s accomplishment, McDonald’s located at 330 South Philadelphia Boulevard in Aberdeen, MD is hosting a “McTeacher of the Year Night” in his honor from 5 - 8 pm on Monday, October 17. The event will allow members of Hall’s Cross Roads Elementary and the local Harford County community the opportunity to thank Christian for his commitment to education. In addition, McDonald’s will donate a percentage of all sales garnered during the event to Hall’s Cross Roads Elementary and will be presenting Mr. Slattery with several additional surprises.

“The Maryland Teacher of the Year program recognizes some of the most distinguished and influential educational leaders within the state,” said Darla Strouse, Executive Director of the Maryland State Department of Education. “The twenty-four Teachers come from each county with a common goal, to help our students achieve the highest standards in education. Our partnership with McDonald’s helps recognize that goal.”
