GIRLS HOOPS: Eagles Win Playoff Opener
Aberdeen blew out Franklin Monday night to open its playoff run.
scored 25 points and the girls basketball team opened the MPSSAA Class 3A playoffs with a 72-41 win against Franklin.
The No. 1 seed Eagles opened a 44-24 lead at the half.
Kierra Palmer added 11 points and a team-best eight assists. TK Fowlkes had 11 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
