Aberdeen High Upgrades: Board of Ed Agenda

An architectural firm has been selected to create a scope study for upgrades to Aberdeen High School's stadium and weigh room, and the contract will be affirmed at the Harford County Board of Education meeting Monday. The $134,195 contract is part of the $1.6 million improvements approved for the project.

Also, the school system's Citizen Advisory Committee will recommend moving "Family Life and Human Development" to the fourth grade curriculum (it is currently part of fifth grade) because "with the age of puberty steadily decreasing, the timing of this instruction no longer meets the needs of many in the student population," according to a report the committee will present Monday.
