Havre de Grace Housing Authority Beacon of Hope Recognition & Fundraiser Event

Havre de Grace Housing Authority is the only public housing authority in Harford County, Maryland. We provide a Family Self-Sufficiency Program for the benefit of our public housing client. The Family Self Sufficiency Program is designed to help families improve the quality of their lives. It involves counseling and referral services provided on an individual basis in the following areas: education, child care, transportation, financial development programs, credit counseling, home ownership, employment opportunities, career advancement and business ownership.

On Friday, November 14, 2014, the Havre de Grace Housing Authority will hold its 3rd annual Beacon of Hope Recognition & Fundraiser Event, at Bulle Rocke, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for admittance and special auction preview. The evening will include live music, food and beverages, auction items, and most importantly the recognition of twenty (20) FSS participating families receiving the “Beacon of Hope” award, for all their achievements, as they walk down the lighted path of self- sufficiency.
