According to a press release from the prosecutor's office, the victim provide an impact statement that said: “I still have nightmares to this day ... but within the last few weeks I have come to realize how strong a person I am. I hope he (Mr. Robinson) rots in jail for the rest of his life.”

After a week-long trial, the jury returned guilty verdicts on April 15, 2011 to two third degree sex offense charges and the kidnapping charge.

"Due to Mr. Robinson’s previous convictions for rape and robbery, the State filed for enhanced penalties and mandatory time for a crime of violence. The case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney, Lisa Hyle Marts," according to the press release.
