Lady Eagles Win First Playoff Game by 35
The Aberdeen Lady Eagles flew high over the North Harford Lady Hawks on Tuesday with a 91-56 victory.
The Lady Hawks kept up with the Lady Eagles for the first few minutes of the game on Tuesday night. But before the first quarter ended, North Harford was in trouble.
Three minutes into the game the score was 7-6 with Aberdeen ahead. But North Harford's point guard suffered an injury and the Lady Eagles quickly capitalized on it. Aberdeen stretched the lead to 27-10 by the end of the quarter.
In the second quarter Aberdeen opened the lead to 20 points, on the strength of Brianna Jones, who was a powerful force in the middle. Jones scored, grabbed rebounds, blocked shots and even got a few steals as well. The halftime score was Aberdeen 53, North Harford 33.

The third and fourth quarters were a continuous scoring run for the Lady Eagles. The team held North Harford to 23 points in the second half while scoring 38 points.
The final score was Aberdeen 91 North Harford 56, earning Aberdeen the right to advance to the regional semifinals.
