Military Exercise Planned In Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, MD — A military training exercise is planned for Monday in Aberdeen. People should be aware that soldiers may be in the area training.

The area where the exercise is taking place is isolated, according to city officials.

The training will not impact travel or other activities and is expected to take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, May 7.

"Anyone who observes soldiers in the performance of their duties within the operation area are being advised this is only a training exercise," according to Aberdeen city officials, who did not specify where the operation area would be.
