Police: $2,000 Reward for Info in Aberdeen Robbery, Assault

Police said teen suffered multiple injuries in crime involving three men and rust-colored, revolver-style handgun.

After a teen was attacked behind his home in Aberdeen, police are offering a reward for information.

At 10:19 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, an assault and robbery occurred in the 700 block of Custis Street in Aberdeen, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

A 17-year-old man was assaulted and robbed by three men, one of whom had a revolver-style handgun, police said. The gun was described as ”rusty in color with a wooden handle,” police reported.

The teen suffered multiple injuries as a result of the incident, which occurred behind his residence, according to police.

The three suspects had thin builds; were of average height; and were between their late teens and early twenties, according to the report. All wore dark clothing and half masks, police said.
