KENOSHA COUNTY, WIS. – A 22-year-old Woodstock woman struck by lightning at a country music festival in Wisconsin last week remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition, the Daily Herald reports. Brittney N. Prehn is being cared for in the burn unit at Loyola University Medical Center, hospital officials said Tuesday. Prehn was apparently struck by lightning while attending the Country Thunder Music Festival in Twin Lakes, Wis., early Friday, authorities said.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department was called to the campground at the music festival at about 12:36 a.m. on Friday and found Prehn who was unconscious, according to a news release from the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department. Prehn was taken to Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry and then transported to Loyola University Medical Center, according to TMJ 4 out of Milwaukee.

When she was first taken to the hospital, authorities did not know her identity since she did not have any identification on her. The Daily Herald reports Prehn's parents called police and were able to positively identify her.
