Smoke Reported at Aberdeen Library

Harford County officials said firefighters were dispatched to library Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a call for service at the Aberdeen branch of the Harford County Public Library Thursday afternoon that was believed to be related to an electrical issue, officials said.

At 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, crews received a report that there was smoke inside the building on Franklin Street in Aberdeen, according to Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman Rich Gardiner.

First responders said the cause was likely linked to electrical issues, according to Gardiner.

There were no injuries in the incident, Gardiner said.
