Teen Stabbed In Aberdeen: Police

Aberdeen Police said a teen was stabbed Sunday night and taken by medevac for treatment.

ABERDEEN, MD — A 19-year-old was injured in a stabbing Sunday night in Aberdeen, according to police. The teen was taken by medevac to the hospital, the Aberdeen Police Department reported.

According to officials, the victim was stabbed once in his back in the 100 block of Allendale Avenue.

Officers responded to the unit block of Liberty Street at approximately 8:50 p.m. for a stabbing and located the victim, who police said was taken by helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

He was listed in stable condition, police said in a statement just before midnight.

The investigation surrounding the incident is ongoing, according to officials.
