Missing Sisters Have Been Found: Aberdeen Police

Police said authorities have located the two girls who disappeared from Aberdeen earlier this week.

UPDATE—The teenage sisters who were reported missing from Aberdeen have been located, the Aberdeen Police Department reported shortly after 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said the girls were found in Havre de Grace.

ABERDEEN, MD – Two teens last seen Monday have been reported missing, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

Kieara Taitingfong, 14, and Alana Taitingfong, 17, have not been seen since they were at Aberdeen Middle and Aberdeen High schools on Monday, Feb. 1, police said.

According to authorities, the girls purposely disappeared.

“The sisters ’ran away’ while they were in the care of a family friend when their mother was on vacation,” Aberdeen Police said in a statement.
