Vote for Aberdeen Schools to Get Target Donations

Now that parents have gotten school supplies for their kids, what about the school?

Target is running an online campaign where, if a school gets 25 votes on its Give With Target website, the retailer will donate $25 to the school, and an additional dollar for every vote after that.

You can vote for any school in the area. Here are the links for a few in Aberdeen (Don't see your school? Find it!):

• Aberdeen High School
• Aberdeen Middle School
• Aberdeen Elementary School
• Bakerfield Elementary School
• Center for Educational Opportunity
• George D. Lisby Elementary
• Halls Cross Roads Elementary
• St. Joan of Arc School

Target will donate up to $5 million to schools nationwide, twice what the retailer set aside to donate in 2012. You can vote through Sept. 21.
