Woman Raped At Knifepoint In Aberdeen: Police
Police said a woman was raped and robbed in Aberdeen after she arranged a meeting online.

ABERDEEN, MD - A woman was robbed and raped at knifepoint near Aberdeen Sunday night, the Aberdeen Police Department reported. The suspect was at large.
At 9:21 p.m., a woman called authorities and said she had arranged to meet someone she met on the classified site Backpage.com and had been walking toward Carol Avenue when she was accosted, according to police.
The suspect put a knife to her right side, then escorted her to a property in the unit block of Carol Avenue, where he raped her at knifepoint, then took her money, according to police.

The suspect was described as a tall man wearing a gray jacket and face mask.
Despite establishing a perimeter and enlisting the assistance of a K-9 unit from the Harford County Sheriff's Office, police said officials were unable to find the suspect.

The victim was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital for an evaluation, where she was treated and released, authorities reported Monday.
