Youth Stabbed in Aberdeen, Police Say

The victim was hospitalized and in stable condition after alleged stabbing, according to Aberdeen Police.

ABERDEEN, MD – A juvenile was hospitalized this week after being stabbed as the result of an alleged altercation in Aberdeen, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

Police responded to the 500 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard for an alleged stabbing at 11:18 p.m. on Wednesday and found a youth with stab wounds, the department reported.

The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and was listed in stable condition Thursday morning, according to Aberdeen Police.

The victim was a 17-year-old girl, Sgt. Will Reiber told Patch.

According to Reiber, investigators were actively working on the case and had not yet identified a suspect.
