Two $1M Powerball Tickets Sold In MD: Check Your Tickets

One person who purchased a ticket for Wednesday's drawing also won $100,000, while two others won $50,000, lottery officials said.

MARYLAND — Check your Powerball tickets, Maryland. Two lucky people in the state purchased tickets for Wednesday's drawing worth $1 million.

The winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing were 7, 10, 11, 13 and 24. The Powerball was 24. According to lottery officials, the winning ticket worth $1.08 billion was sold in Los Angeles, California.

In Maryland, the two lucky tickets worth $1 million — meaning players matched all five white balls — were sold at Quick Shop in Greensboro and River Hill Sunoco in Clarksville, according to Maryland Lottery officials.

Tickets worth $1 million were sold in 15 other states, according to Powerball's website.

One person who purchased a ticket in Maryland won $100,000 with a ticket that matched four white balls plus the Powerball and included the Power Play option. Two others won $50,000, meaning they matched four white balls plus the Powerball.

Tickets worth $2 million were sold in three states, meaning players matched all five white numbers with the Power Play option. Those tickets were sold in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, according to Powerball's website.

Following Wednesday's drawing, the Powerball jackpot returns to $20 million. Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. ET.
