MARYLAND — Hot, stormy weather will close out the last full week of June, as a cold front moves into the region.
While Friday starts with partly sunny conditions and temperatures reaching the 90s, the day shifts to more gloomy weather with rain and thunderstorms.
Isolated showers are expected to start around 2 p.m., with storms developing through the afternoon and potentially impacting the evening commute.
The National Weather Service says several rounds of stormy conditions could stay through at least 5 p.m.
However, that won't be the last of the storms.

Marylanders are urged to heed caution as some areas may see foggy conditions develop.
The latest data released by the National Weather Service suggests there's an 80% chance of rainfall that amounts to as much as an inch.
