1 Dead, 1 Injured In Shootings At Annapolis Party: Police
A North Carolina man died from a gunshot wound, and a second man was wounded in shootings at an Annapolis party on Sunday, police said.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — One 19-year-old was killed and a second suffered a gunshot wound at a party early Sunday morning in Annapolis, authorities said. Justin Keith Beasley Jr., 19, from North Carolina, died from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body after being shot in what police said was a homicide.
Anne Arundel County Police were called about 12:40 a.m. to the 1600 block of Cananaro Drive in Annapolis for reports of a shooting. Officers found a large crowd of party-goers at the scene, and Beasley suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
Officers administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation until paramedics arrived. Beasley was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
A second 19-year-old man who had also been shot in the upper body was taken to a local trauma center for treatment.

Investigators believe people who attended the party have information about Beasley's death and the shooting of the other teen.
