10-Cent Gas at Pump Wednesday in Annapolis

A local insurance office is sponsoring the cheap gas Wednesday morning as part of a Hump Day Gas Giveaway to thank the community.

Gas prices have dropped in recent months – selling for $2.69 a gallon at several stations in town – but an unheard of price of 10 cents a gallon will be sold Wednesday in Annapolis.

Local GEICO agent Sylvia Hopkins and her office in Annapolis will host a Hump Day Gas Giveaway to thank the community.

The team will be offering 10-cent gas to customers and will also hand out toy geckos and Hump Day T-shirts.

The fuel special will run from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Shell gas station at 2575 Riva Road in Annapolis.

There will be no limit for customers getting gas, reports The Capital-Gazette.
