15-Year-Old Boy Shot In Annapolis, Flown To Hospital: Police

A 15-year-old boy was shot in Annapolis, police said. Medics airlifted the injured teenager to a hospital.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police announced that a 15-year-old boy was shot Tuesday afternoon in Annapolis.

The Annapolis Police Department said it heard about the shooting near Frederick Douglass Street and Medgar Evers Street around 4:10 p.m.

Medics flew the victim to an unnamed hospital, a press release said. He was in stable condition when the medevac helicopter took off.

Officers did not give any suspect information.

Detectives are still investigating. Authorities asked anybody with information to call 410-260-3439.
