18K Wreaths To Be Laid At Maryland Veterans Cemetery Dec. 14
For National Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers and Anne Arundel Co. firefighters will set up 18,000 wreaths at MD Veterans Cemetery.

CROWNSVILLE, MD — An estimated 18,000 wreaths will be placed on the headstones of veterans laid to rest at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville Dec. 14 for National Wreaths Across America Day. Members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department will assist Wreaths Across America with the delivery and unloading of the wreaths Friday morning.
The trucks carrying the wreaths will arrive in a convoy at the cemetery located at 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd. at approximately 8:30 a.m. Dec. 13. Following the arrival, firefighters will assist Wreaths Across America volunteers with unloading thousands of wreaths that then will be kept at the cemetery awaiting graveside placement on Saturday.
