2 Men Assault, Rob Acquaintance in Annapolis
An Annapolis man told police that two men he knows beat and robbed him on Severn Island Court.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis man told police that two men he knows beat and robbed him Wednesday in the 600 block of Severn Island Court. Police say the victim suffered injuries to his head, face, and leg; he was treated at Anne Arundel Medical Center and released.
The victim identified one of the suspects as Gary Watts, 52, of Annapolis. Annapolis Police officers located Watts and charged him with robbery and second-degree assault. Watts is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
The investigation into the identity of the second suspect is continuing, police say.
