2 More Arrested In Fatal 2022 Shooting Of Severn Man

In all, three people have been arrested and charged in the August 2022 shooting death of 20-year-old Naim Rashid Addison.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Authorities have arrested two more people in connection with the August 2022 shooting death of a 20-year-old Severn man.

Dontravious Johnson, 19, of Annapolis, and 20-year-old Francis Koroma Jr. of Greenbelt were arrested Tuesday and each charged with first- and second-degree murder in connection with the death of Naim Rashid Addison, Anne Arundel County police announced.

Both men also face counts of assault, armed robbery, reckless endangerment and firearms charges.

According to police, officers responded to an area near Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court in Severn around 8:40 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2022, after receiving a call about a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Addison in the driver's seat of a Honda Civic, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said Addison was seated in the car at the time of the shooting. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In March 2023, police arrested 18-year-old Vanae Lewis of Severn in connection with the shooting. Lewis was also charged with first- and second-degree murder, assault and reckless endangerment.
